vertical injection machine

A vertical injection machine, also called a vertical injection molding machine or an insert module, is used in manufacturing processes for producing plastic components. This is used extensively in automotive, medical and consumer products. The machine works as a vertical clamping mould that is attached to the table, forming work from bottom up.

Plastic pellets are placed into a hopper to give an insight of how the machine operates. That liquid is then used to make pellets. After that the vertical mould is filled with liquid plastic injected into through a nozzle. The plastic material is then injected into the mold, and centrifugal force distributes the liquid contents to all corners of the cavity within a few seconds. The mold is then opened and the finished part ejected.

Controller options for vertical injection machine

Vertical injection machines are made by a host of manufacturers including Engel, Toshiba and Arburg in Europe; KraussMaffei Sumitomo from Japan Nissei. All of these lines, however, helped to set up some higher-quality parts with additional capabilities.

For your production needs, some key features should be considered before you choose a vertical injection machine: clamping force (tonnage) suiting your target products; mechanical precision control of the screw to achieve adjustable speed and volume with constant pressure or backpressure as well as hydraulic system-the heart of every IMM transporting huge power. It is essential to pick a machine that offers versatility and adjustment about molds so your molding production will improve.
